Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website keeps in your browser. AutoAds uses only the cookies it needs to work. We use no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so we do not ask you to accept any.
The cookies we use
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
autoads_sid | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, protects forms from being sent by other websites, and remembers short messages such as "Saved". It holds no personal details itself. | Until you close the browser, or sign out |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | When it is switched on, it checks that a form (an enquiry or sign-up) is being sent by a person and not a robot. Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie for this, and uses it for nothing else. | Minutes |
These are "strictly necessary" under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, so they do not need your consent. If you block them, signing in and sending forms will not work.
Dealer websites
Dealer websites hosted by AutoAds (for example autoads.uk/site/name) use the same single cookie, and no others.
